I came to the present show for the superpowers however they take a back seat for the abundance of the series in favor of drama, intrigue, and teen-life. while not the sci-fi component I could not have watched which would are my loss. The acting (including the most role player United Nations agency comes certain some flack in other reviews) is on purpose throughout, neither over nor beneath compete. Film-making is cooked – once more avoiding extremes and easily serving the story rather well. The pacing is spot on.
