Storyline:
The film takes place at two different times: present and 11 years ago. The two plot lines are told in parallel through flashbacks. In 2002, software engineer Alan Russell moved into a new home with his wife Mary, 10-year-old son Tim, and 12-year-old daughter Kaylee. Alan buys an antique mirror to decorate his office. Unknowingly for them, the mirror supernaturally inspires hallucinations. Mary senses the loss of her own body, while Alan is seduced by a ghostly woman named Marisol, who has a mirror instead of eyes.
Over time, parents become mental; Alan isolates himself in his office, and Mary is taken back and goes insane. All the plants in the house die, and the family dog disappears after being locked in the office with a mirror. After Kaylee sees Alan with Marisol, he tells his mother, and the parents fight. One night, Mary goes mad and attempts to kill her children, but Alan shuts her down.
